Single-Player
May be extremely short and easy on the hardest difficulty (Veteran), but still does provide a whole lot of fun and entertainment. You play as five different characters;
(not in order)
- Sergeant Gary "Roach" Sanderson (for the majority of the game)
- Private First Class Joseph Allen (very short part of the game)
- Private James Ramirez (good part of the game)
- John "Soap" MacTavish (last three missions)
- An unnamed Astronaut (for about five minutes in the middle of J. Ramirez's mission)
So is the sixth installment of the famous CoD series anything different? Is it unique? Interesting? Well, as for the singleplayer, it is very interesting indeed. While extremely easy, it can provide hours of entertainment and keeps you hooked until the very last level as the plot twists and turns. Take a look at this one video of the level Cliffhanger;
Very different from CoD4. Healthy amount of new guns such as the Thumper, AUG HBAR, MP5k, etc. Also, towards the end of the above level, your character jumps onto a snow bike and rides to the end of the end of the level while firing what looks like a Mini-Uzi or a PP2000 at enemies. Pretty cool, huh?
Overall in my opinion I'd say the Singleplayer deserves a 8/10. Good plot, great graphics, but is just too short and easy, even on Veteran!
Multiplayer
Sorry to say this, but I'll be straight with you guys, HORRIBLE. Possibly the worst Multiplayer of the CoD series. So frustrating, such bad perks, overpowered weapons.. yet it was meant to be so good! Too hyped up. Take a look at these videos:
It may be fun the first time you play it, seeing all the new features, etc. but soon enough you will get too frustrated with the boosters, overpowered weapons and possibly even sell it (living example here).
So the multiplayer gets a hugely disappointing 2/10. Nothing good to say about it, really, apart from the fact that they added a barebones playlist, so that gets 2 points. Maybe let's wait for CoD: Black Ops.
Co-Operative
It's called Spec-Ops. There are 5 "sets", each with a series of challenges in them which you can earn either 1*, 2* or 3*, depending on either the difficulty or the time in which you complete it in. Here's some gameplay for you:
I'd say Spec Ops is definitely better than Multiplayer, but not as good as singleplayer. I mean, we could have had a better co-op mode (zombies, anyone?). Nothing special, but not too tragic either. That's why it gets a 6/10.
Overall
Overall the score would be... *DRUMROLL*

5/10!
Singleplayer by far the best thing in the game, Muliplayer was shocking and Spec ops was alright, but could be a lot better!
I wouldn't recommend buying this. Sorry, but I've gotta be straight with ya. There are so many better games out there, this one is just another waste of money.
Thanks for reading my review, more coming up soon!
